Tone up your body and reduce cellulite whilst sitting down!
IS THAT POSSIBLE???!!!
If I told you that you could tone up your muscles especially your core muscles, loose weight, increase your metabolism and improve your brain power all whilst sitting down would you believe me? Perhaps not, but read on and you will soon be convinced. Increased metabolism equals less toxins being created from dormant wastes in the body and therefore less cellulite. If your body has good posture and strength it will operate better, more efficiently and will be less prone to injury. To get good posture it is imperative that your core muscles are strong thus giving a good foundation and power to your back, limbs and internal organs.
Here is something you can try to check if your body is balanced. Your car runs much better and more fuel efficiently if your wheels are aligned and your body is no different. Stand up and bend over so you are at a right angle to the floor, now bend one leg and lift the other (also bent) leg back so that it is also at a right angle to the floor level with your upper body. Put your arms straight out for balance. You should be able to do this easily and hold the position on either leg for at least 10 seconds. If you are not balanced or able to balance physically how are you ever going to balance anything mentally. If you are physically balanced you will find it easier to be mentally balanced, this aids decision making and analogy making your daily routine more efficient whether you are at home with the children or running a business. Practice balance, it will help you.
Balance your body, balance your brain, balance your thoughts, balance your life.
There is a really easy way to get core strength and balance into your life. Get your self a fit ball. When you sit on a ball you are exercising because your body needs to balance. Balancing uses a lot of muscles especially your core muscles. Building muscle strength is good, as your body uses more calories for muscle cells than it does for your fat cells. It is really great for you to sit on whilst watching TV or knitting or even reading a magazine. To choose your size, when you sit on it, your knees should be at a right angle to the floor. Always sit up straight on the ball, and slightly to the front of the top of the ball. Get yourself a basic video that will teach you fit ball posture. This is extremely important to get maximum benefit. Just think, you can watch the midday movie and not feel guilty about it, because you are using your stored energy. If you do nothing else, no exercise at all whatsoever, then at least do this. Get yourself a fit ball and sit yourself down. Just by sitting on a fit ball at your desk at work or watching the news at night, you will be practicing balance and burning calories as well as gaining strength in the most important of muscle groups, the core muscles which support your spine, shoulders and hips. After a while you will feel yourself waking taller, straighter and you will feel lighter on your feet.
